获奖新闻：Pedro Medina, a researcher who studies genes to fight cancer was one of our finalists

闪亮的人，科学领域获奖新闻（英文版）：Pedro Medina is a biologist that has just received the BIAL Award one of the most prestigious awards of scientific research in the area of health in Europe. From the Genomics and Oncology Research Centre at the “Health Science and Technology Park” in Granada he fights against cancer through genetic investigation.  This defender of the public sphere, that considers himself as a product of the public system, combines his investigations with his work as a professor at the University of Granada.
